PHOENIX-- Firefighters in Phoenix have rescued a woman on Monday from the second story window of a house after the inside of her home caught fire and she was unable to get out. The incident took place at 7th and Southern avenues around 3 p.m.

Firefighters arrived on scene and extended a 24ft ladder, lifted her out, and carried her down to paramedics standing by. Emergency crews treated her for smoke inhalation. The fire had been quickly put out and no other injuries were reported.
