YUMA -- A Ninja motorcycle crashed at Engler Avenue and 16th Street on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, just after 10:15 at night.

YCSO says that 27-year-old Tommy Gonzales was traveling at an undisclosed speed west on 16th Street when, for unknown reasons, he swerved, lost control, and ultimately struck the median and a street sign.

Gonzales died ta the accident site. This case remains under investigation at this time, but deputies say that alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this collision.
