Main Library in Yuma introduces new storytimes for June

YUMA -- Children of all ages and teens are invited to the Main Library for storytime, programs, and fun! There is no charge to attend.

BabyTime

Children ages 2 and younger can enjoy songs, rhymes, stories, and playtime! For newborns to crawlers. Seating is limited.

Let’s “Rock” Together

Spread some cheer this summer by painting a rock to leave around the community for others to find and brighten their day. Or, keep your rock and brighten your own day. Ages 6-12 welcome. Supplies will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis while they last. Limited seating.

Pick Up Cup Challenge

Solve the puzzle and work as a team. Kids will work in their assigned teams to stack cups. The catch? You can only use rubber bands and string to do the stacking. Ages 6-12 welcome. Supplies will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis while they last. Limited seating.

Use recycled items to create towers that are the tallest or can hold the most weight. Anything goes in this fun team building challenge. Ages 13-17 welcome. Seating is limited.

BFF Lotería, Jr.

Play a fun game of traditional Mexican lotería with a twist: all the chards in this version are famous book characters and their best friends. You might win a fun prize! Ages 6-12 welcome. Supplies will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis while they last. Limited seating.

Children ages 6-12 are invited to sign up to read to one of our friendly guide dogs, Bella and Gabriel! Space is limited; sign up begins at 9am at the Youth Services desk on the day of the program.

You are an important piece of the puzzle that makes our community great. Decorate a puzzle piece that expresses who you are and add it to our giant community puzzle.
